Brand Mission
Cloudgazers designs conscious clothing that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and community. We create thoughtfully made pieces and experiences that encourage self-expression and connection — promoting a slower approach to fashion based on quality, repair, and reuse.
Name
cloudgazers first came to us as the German word “Wolkenkieken” pronounced [ˈvɔl.kənˌkiː.kən] – a dialect expression meaning watching clouds or “cloudgazing”.
The more we contemplated on the deeper meaning of these words, the more meaning we found. And we are still exploring this together with our growing community of friends and like-minded people.

After completing a professional tailoring apprenticeship, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked on film sets and collaborated with artists including Jamie Foxx, Carrie-Anne Moss, George Clinton, and Rocky Dawuni gaining experience at the intersection of fashion, music, and visual culture.
In the following years, Sanni focused on raising her four sons. Now that they are older, she is returning to design with renewed energy—bringing together lifelong craftsmanship, creativity, and a passion for creating pieces that inspire connection and self-expression.
Alongside his visual work, Hendrik is also a coach specializing in personal growth and emotional resilience. His background in coaching informs his approach to creative collaboration, with a strong focus on authenticity, connection, and supporting people in expressing their unique voice.
Within Cloudgazers, Hendrik contributes his photographic perspective while also managing many of the technical and digital aspects behind the scenes, helping turn creative ideas into projects that can be shared with a wider community.
Alongside this path, he developed a growing passion for fashion and design. Motivated to bring his ideas to life, he began learning to sew under Sanni’s guidance, experimenting and developing his designs directly at the sewing machine.
His designs are bold, colorful, and expressive—often turning heads at events and on social media. Jon Q approaches fashion the same way he approaches sport: with energy, confidence, and the drive to create something that stands out.
